We are a group of volunteers helping families with school age children, experiencing financial hardship in the greater Noosa district.
Our focus
Our primary focus is assisting eligible students to attend extracurricular activities such as school camps, swimming lessons, and surf awareness programs.
We also finance essential resources like uniforms, book packs, sporting equipment, musical instruments, artistic and technical equipment, and computers (in special circumstances).
Additionally, we assist with transportation costs and application fees for students participating in sporting, educational, or artistic activities.
For many kids, our support means the difference between joining in or missing out. A school camp might be where they build confidence, discover a passion, or make lifelong friends.

About us
Founded 17 years ago in Noosa, Thursday Girls Noosa began when a group of community-minded women came together to host a monthly Thursday fundraising lunch.
What started as a small gathering has grown into a registered, not-for-profit charity, led entirely by an all-volunteer committee of retired and semi-retired women dedicated to supporting the local community.
We raise funds through lunches, dinners, and raffles at local restaurants. The proceeds from these events provide students with the funds to access optional school programs such as camps, sports events, surfing awareness programs, music, artistic and other learning activities.
